Five kinda weird but Smart Steps to make your home smell amazing!!

Momma always used to say, “A clean home is a happy home!” and who doesn’t love a clean, happy home! A home that smells clean and fresh is simply the best, so we have picked our favorite five hacks that will make your home smell amazing!

Homemade Bath and Shower (that actually works!)

Skiptomylou has an absolutely amazing cleaner that combines two great products into one super cleaner!

This dawn and vinegar cleaner is a powerful cleaner and it will leave your home smelling fresh & clean!

Smelly Mildew on Towels….Yuck!

We have the best solution to get your towels fresh and smelling lovely!

Wash your towels on the hottest water setting possible and add 1 cup of vinegar. If the mildew smell is still there, wash your load again with very hot water and ½ cup of baking soda. When your clothes are done washing, place them in your dryer on the highest heat setting. Make sure the towels get completely dry before taking them out.

Getting your Toilet Lemony Fresh!

Pour a packet of lemon flavored Kool-Aid mix into your toilet, and use the toilet brush to scrub away the stains. The citric acid from the mix will dissolve and break down stains.

Essential Oils on your furnace filter!

This is by far my favorite trick to a wonderful smelling home!

A few drops of Eucalyptus in the spring, Clove in the fall or Peppermint in the winter…..Smells heavenly!

Simply yet effective way to rid your house of pesky odors!

Leave a bowl of white vinegar in the room overnight and easy peasy lemon squeezy….the odor is gone!

It doesn’t get much more simple than that!
